This role leads the definition and execution of end-to-end QA strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality, secure, and compliant software products. It involves planning, designing, and executing manual and automated tests; developing and maintaining test plans and documentation; managing defect tracking and regression testing; and conducting performance, load, stress, and usability testing. The position also mentors and manages QA engineers, collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to define quality standards and acceptance criteria, drives continuous improvement of QA processes and tools, ensures compliance with industry and security standards, supports team training and onboarding, communicates clear test reports to stakeholders, and upholds Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) responsibilities by maintaining safe systems and conditions of work.
Educational Requirements / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5–8 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer with leadership responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and tools.
Skills & Competencies
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
- Strong leadership and team mentoring skills.
- Knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with performance, security, and usability testing.
- Experience with version control and tracking tools (e.g., Git, JIRA).
- API testing and TDD experience is a plus.
- ISTQB or equivalent certification preferred.
